While the Soviets helped the Allies defeat Adolf Hitler & rescued millions from their death, Stalin had his own concentration camps. This class will give you a side by side comparison of the daily life of prisoner in both Nazi Germany and the Gulag. We will cover everything from daily calories, prevalence of diseases, medical care, and labor.

We will discuss the many aspects of current education system in America, from affirmative action to policing in schools. How does your family background shape your success in school?
