H760: The Zoo is Not For Animals in Splash Fall 2018 (Oct. 28, 2018)
Join me for a discussion on the history, architecture, and ethical questions regarding zoos from an anthropocentric (human- centered) point of view! We will touch on animal rights, but the class will mainly focus on animal exhibits in context with colonialism and humanitarianism, as well as similarities between animal enclosures and human residential projects. It will be wild!
